How to read a COA

A COA is the lab report. Not a screenshot. These two are real Peak Revival third-party PDFs.

What you are looking for

  1. A named lab, letterhead, date, signature.
  2. A lot / batch number you can match to the vial.
  3. Identity tested (usually LC-MS), not just a purity %.
  4. Net content — how many milligrams are actually in the bottle.
  5. If it’s a blend: a table per compound, not one purity percent.

A single-compound report

Freedom Diagnostics. Product listed as GLP-3 10mg. Lot 3KT3H0. That’s retatrutide under the lab’s name, not a different peptide.

Third-party PDF. Lab, lot, dates, method, chromatogram, signature.
FieldOn this reportWhy it matters
LabFreedom DiagnosticsNamed lab, address, email. Not a crop.
Lot3KT3H0Has to match the vial and the product page.
IdentityConfirmed (LC-MS) — “GLP RT”They checked it is the compound, not just “99% something.”
Purity99.91% (HPLC-UV)How clean the peak is. Not the same as how much is in the vial.
Net content10.42 mg on a 10 mg labelSlight overfill is normal. 6 mg on a 10 mg label is not.
DatesReceived 7/22/2026 · Reported 7/25/2026A dated report beats an undated JPEG.

Purity and net content are different jobs. 99.91% clean and 10.42 mg in the bottle is the pair you want. A pretty purity number with no milligram count is half a report.

A blend is not one number

Accurate Test Labs. Product KLOW. Lot 57UDXN. Headline says 99.93% purity and “labeled content 80.” The table is the real page.

Four peaks on the chromatogram. Four rows in the table.

Total69.59 vs labeled 80

99.93% is how clean the sample tested. 69.59 mg is how much they found. The label said 80. Look at the milligrams, not the green “Confirmed” stamp.

If a vendor only shows you the 99% and hides the table, they are showing you the marketing line.

The walk

  1. Open the vendor page. Write down the name and the lot.
  2. Open the actual PDF. Not a story screenshot.
  3. Match lot. Match compound. On blends, match all four.
  4. Read identity, then purity, then net content.
  5. If any of those are missing, treat it as incomplete.
